How it works

  1. Accounts health check

We review your current records — spreadsheets, software or shoebox receipts — and report what is missing, duplicated or wrong. Free of charge.

  2. Setup and chart of accounts

We structure your ledger to match your business and FBR requirements, so every entry lands where both management and the taxman expect it.

  3. Monthly bookkeeping cycle

Invoices, expenses, bank statements and payroll are entered, reconciled and reviewed every month — with a short management report you can actually read.

  4. Year-end handover

Your auditors or tax consultant receive clean, reconciled books, schedules and ledgers — no year-end chaos, no surprise fees.

Why SARN Consulting

Bookkeeping at SARN is done by qualified accountants — led by Asim Ali — not by data-entry operators. Every ledger is reviewed before it is closed, and the same team that keeps your books can coordinate with your auditor and tax consultant, so figures flow without rework. Fixed monthly pricing means you can call us anytime without watching a meter.

Local knowledge, Pakistan-wide coverage

From traders in Aabpara and Melody markets to IT houses in I-9 and contractors working on CDA projects, Islamabad businesses share one problem: records kept for the owner's pocket, not for the FBR, banks or auditors. We maintain books that satisfy all three at once — including sales tax invoice registers for the new digital invoicing regime, and payroll records that survive an SECP or labour inspection.

Recent engagements (anonymised)

Retail trader — from shoebox to system

Nine months of receipts in bags. We rebuilt the ledger in three weeks, set up a sales tax register for the digital invoicing regime, and delivered the first management report the owner could actually read.

IT startup — investor-ready books

QuickBooks monthly cycle plus payroll for twelve staff. When a foreign investor's diligence arrived, the numbers were already reconciled — the deal team answered questions in days, not weeks.

Contractor — mid-year takeover

Took over from a departing bookkeeper in September. January-to-September records reconciled before year-end, so the audit and tax filing landed without a single surprise.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to switch accounting software to work with you?

No. We adapt to the system you already use, whether that is QuickBooks, Xero, Excel or a local package. If your current setup is causing errors, we will recommend a change only when the benefits clearly outweigh the switching effort for your business.

Can you take over a backlog of unrecorded transactions?

Yes, catch-up bookkeeping is a regular part of our work. We reconstruct records from bank statements, invoices and receipts, bring the ledger up to date, and then hand over a clean, reconciled position your auditor or bank can rely on.

How do you keep my financial data confidential?

Access is limited to the named staff working on your file, data is shared only through controlled channels, and we sign non-disclosure agreements on request. Your records are never reused for any purpose outside your engagement.

Do you work with accounting software or spreadsheets?

Both. We maintain books in whatever environment suits your size and budget — QuickBooks, Xero, Excel-based systems or your existing software. What matters is that records are complete, reconciled and reviewable, not which tool holds them.

Can you take over accounting mid-year?

Yes — it is common. We start by rebuilding or reconciling the months already gone, then run the ongoing cycle. You lose no time: the year-end and tax filings still land complete and on schedule.
