• Tourism has become one of the largest industries in the world, economies of some countries entirely depend on tourism Tourism industry contributes huge foreign exchange towards the local economy in the form of payment for the goods and services needed by tourists. Pakistan has a lot of potential for tourism due to its diverse and rich heritage and  culture.

• Beautiful valleys of the northern areas like Kalam, Swat, Murree, Abbotabad ; mountain peaks of  Qarqaram, K2, and other  cities of country like Lahore Islamabad, Karachi, Multan etc make Pakistan a paradise for tourists. Beside foreigners every year hundreds of thousands of local residents of Pakistan visit different areas of Pakistan, specially northern areas. Rawalpindi and Islamabad is a gateway to northern areas, KPK and Azad Kashmir. Hence thousand of tour operator and tour manager are working in twin cities.

• Thousand of tour operators are working in the country which facilitates both local and foreign tourists, further Haj and Umrah services are usually provided by tour operators.

Overseas Employment License
A license shall be valid for three consecutive calendar years or part thereof and may be renewed by the Director-General on an application made in that behalf to him in Form 3, through the Protector of Emigrants, at least one month before its expiry and on payment of renewal fee of fifteen thousand (15,000) rupees per annum, after a demand notice has been issued by the Director General. Provided that if an application for renewal is made after the expiry of the said period, an additional fee of one thousand (1000) rupees shall be charged from the Overseas Employment Promoter.

The license shall be renewed by the Director-General.

• for a period of three years, if the licensee has performed well and has exported fifty (50) or more workers in the last three years of the validity of the license.

• for a period of two years if the licensee has exported ten (10) or more workers but less than fifty workers within the last three years of the validity of the license.

• for a period of one year, if the licensee has sent no worker or less than ten workers for employment abroad within the last three years of the validity of the license.

• If an Overseas Employment Promoter improves his performance, he shall be entitled to renewal of his license in subsequent years.

• If at the time of renewal of license the Director-General is satisfied that the Overseas Employment Promoter has been guilty of misconduct or his performance has been unsatisfactory or he has committed breach of the provisions of the Ordinance or these Rules, he may, by written order, refuse to renew the license after giving him an opportunity of being heard.

• An appeal shall lie to the Federal Government against the order of refusal to renew a license.

This platform is provided by the FBR to facilitate the customs. It is made a compulsory and standard platform for filing GD (Goods Declaration). The older method is no longer applicable. It is important because this online system helps keep the track and record of the cargo for traders and the customs officers.

• Literary works which includes Books, Magazines, Journals, Lectures, Dramas, Novels, Computer programmes/Software and compilation of data etc.

• Artistic works like paintings, Maps, photographs, drawings, Charts, Calligraphic, Sculptures, Architectural Works, Label Designs, Logos, Monograms and other works alike.

• Cinematographic works which includes movies, audio-visual works, documentaries etc; and

• Record works which include sound recordings, musical works etc.
